Topset Cove Base Gouge
This handy tool gouges the back of vinyl or rubber topset cove base,
forms a 5/32" wide groove to produce tighter-wrapped outside corners.
The groove removes excess fullness at the corner that can cause the base
to pucker and form gaps from the wall.
This eliminates costly preformed corners and improves the appearance.
Grooving depth is adjustable using the knurled steel nut.
Wood handle is rounded to fit the palm comfortably.
The 5/32" wide blade can be sharpened and replaceable.
